The Glitz & Glamour Ball 2010, themed Viva Las Vegas, is organized by Fayette House and Communications Club under the supervision Mr. Francis Ng and Ms. Padma. This ball is open to everyone in the college, whether students, staff and lecturers. The purpose of the ball is to make it a major annual event, prepare an avenue for our students to showcase their talent on stage, for us to gain experience through organizing events, to bring together an event for students to enjoy and dressed to their best, but most of all, we would like to donate as much as we can from the profit of this year's ball to the Malaysia Mental Health Association (MMHA).

The committee comprises of 11 Fayette House members lead by Staci Tan and 13 Communications Club members lead by Lucille Joyce Dayan. Lucille is currently heading the Ball and she and her team have worked really hard to put together a huge event for the college. Mr. Francis and Ms. Padma too have contributed a lot by advising us and guiding us towards the success of this event. The soft launch of the ball was held on July 5, 2010 (Monday) and hard launch on last Wednesday September 22, 2010. We managed to get many generous companies and many contributers to sponsor our event, such as Campus Plus Magazine, Flyfm, and many more. The college, also supported us by loaning us RM6,000.00 to kick start the event. See you all in Friday 1 oct,2010 at Tropicana Golf & Country Resort in 7PM

The CrazyLoud Bunch Showcase Their Talents

SEGi College Subang Jaya is staging an exhibition mainly to showcase the talents of their Faculty of Creative Arts and Design (FOCAD) students. This showcase is actually the Media, Arts and Design (MAD) Graduation Showcase 2010, which serves as the sole purpose of showcasing SEGi’s many talented students. Launching officially on the 6^th of October 2010, at 3.00 p.m. the exhibition will run on until 7.00 p.m. and on the following day, 7^th October 2010, start at 10.00 a.m. right until 6.00 p.m. which will be held in White Box, MAP KL, Solaris Dutamas. This showcase, amongst others that have been organized, is by far the biggest batch to graduate from FOCAD of SEGi Subang with approximately 40 students from 9 different departments. The 9 talented departments consist of Mass Communication, Graphic Design, Advertising Design, Interior Design, Industrial Design, Creative Multimedia, Performing Arts, Video & Animation, & Photography. Centered on the theme ‘CrazyLoud’, the students of SEGi College Subang Jaya follow the concept of the Rorschach Inkblot Test. This is because each student has a different interpretation towards a single inkblot test, the same goes for any piece of artwork. This reflects the students' minds, creativity and ideas. Apart from that, the Performing Arts department of SEGi College Subang Jaya will be showcasing their talents called The Youth and Shakespeare which is set to take place on the 6^th of October, at 8.30pm, located at the Black Box, MAP KL, Solaris Dutamas. The event is to showcase, in regards to how Shakespeare has managed to predict the behaviors of the youth of the generations after his, until today, and depict that in his plays. SEGi College Subang Jaya has many talented students and this is an event to showcase, all at once, what these students or capable of and more.
